Due the first day of each month. Tuition is non-refundable and not prorated for closed dates.
A $25.00 fee will be added to all accounts not paid by the 5th of the month. An additional $5.00 per day will accrue until the account is made current. In order to re-enroll, a new registration fee will be required in addition to all outstanding fees.
Recital costume fees can be up to $100 per costume. Late payments of costume fees will result in additional shipping charges. All costume fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full before ordered. Late fees will accrue on outstanding past due balances.
Up to $50.00 per dancer, depending on venue, is due on April 1, 2021.
The preferred method of payment for monthly tuition is through auto-debit of a checking account linked to our Parent Portal. VISA, MasterCard, & Amex cards are also an option. Incidental fees such as costume deposit and recital fee may also be included. This is the most convenient, efficient, and secure payment method. Other payment methods include cash or checks made payable to Lefton Dance Complex. If you decide to pay with cash or check, it is still required to pay by the 5th of the month and have an active credit card or bank account on file. All accounts must be paid in full prior to participating in the year-end performance and to pick up your recital costume. All fees are nonrefundable. The credit card and ACH transaction fees are below.
Credit Card [2.99% + .30 cents per transaction]
ACH [.8% per transaction]
If private lesson is cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled time a $25 fee will be posted to your account.
Delinquent accounts may be turned over for collection, in which case the account holder will be responsible for all outstanding payments, along with all related costs of collections, including attorney’s fees and court filing fees.
Our annual recital will be held in May or June. Exact dates and location will be announced in February. In order to participate in the performance, all students must attend the mandatory dress rehearsal. Tickets will go on sale approximately three weeks before the recital. No children under the age of two should attend the recital.
Recital Drop Fee
If a dancer drops from classes after March 1, there will be a $300 drop fee added to your account. This does not apply to instances of job loss, family death, or serious injury.
In the event a student is absent from class, they may take a makeup class within four weeks of the missed class. There will be no makeup classes starting March 1st due to preparation for recital.
One month’s written notice from the first of the month must be given for all students withdrawing from the program. If written notice is received after the 7th, you will be responsible for the following month’s full tuition.
Street shoes will not be allowed on the studio floor. Please remove all street shoes before entering the studio. Our studio floor is a huge investment, and this rule will be enforced in order to protect that investment. Periodic shoe checks will be made during your child’s class. Shoes that show signs of being worn outside will need to be replaced. Tap shoes with rough edges or loose or protruding screws will need to be repaired or replaced. Thank you for helping to protect and preserve our first class flooring surfaces.
There is no food allowed in the studio. All dancers & parents will be responsible for cleaning up any outside food & beverage brought into Lefton Dance Complex's lobby.
Your safety is our number one concern. Closings due to inclement weather will be at the discretion of Lefton Dance Complex. Tuition will NOT be pro-rated for closings due to inclement weather.
